How to use Anatome
Anatome is a workout and nutrition log. People use it in two ways: the web app, and an AI assistant that writes into the same log.
The app
The product people open in a browser is client.anatome.dev. It works signed out. Sign in if you want meals and workouts to stay private to you across devices.
Log a session, a meal, cardio or a body metric. Photograph a plate or scan a barcode. There is nothing to install; add the site to your home screen if you want an icon.
The ChatGPT connector
Paste https://anatome.dev/mcp into ChatGPT Settings, Connectors. Then say what you lifted or ate. The same log shows up in the web app.
Claude, Cursor and any other MCP client use that same URL.
Privacy
Workouts, meals and photos are yours. We do not sell them and we do not train models on them. Delete something and it is hidden at once, restorable for 30 days, then held 30 more before it is erased.
The ChatGPT (and other MCP) connector reads and writes that same log. Meal and photo parsing may be sent to an AI provider to turn a description or picture into macros; those calls are not used to train models. The service is hosted in Falkenstein, Germany (Hetzner). Food lookups use Open Food Facts and USDA. Security reports and deletion requests: support@anatome.dev.
Full policy: anatome.dev/privacy. Terms: anatome.dev/terms.
Not this page
wiki.anatome.dev is the open-source exercise and anatomy wiki. platform.anatome.dev/docs is the REST and MCP contract for people building on the API, not the app itself.
